Honoring the Angels.

A couple of years ago I had an amazing deliverance from death that I am pretty sure was the work of Angels.  There is a promise in the bible that “angels will lift you up in their hands so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.”  I can attest that this promise is true for I experienced it .  It is stated in Psalm 91 verses 9-12

If you make the most high your dwelling, even the lord who is my refuge,  Then no harm shall befall you , and no disaster will come near your tent. For He will command His angels concerning you, to guard you in all your ways. they will lift you up in their hands so that you will not strike your foot against a stone. ,

It was just before Christmas and I was making a mad dash from Vancouver to Calgary to visit family.  I only had four days to get there and back and to visit all my many family members.  I had a little Honda Civic with great snow tires and I was cruising along late in the evening,  east of Spences Bridge , doing about 120 km.per hour. The road was clear and bare, there was almost no traffic,  and I was  singing and feeling wonderful. That is until I hit black ice, and I began to slide, left,  toward a semi trailer coming toward me. I cried out ” Jesus ” and began to control steer as much as I could.  The car  straightened out and then began to slide to the right and I slid right off the road onto an open field. Without the least bump  I drove onto the field and then back out again and onto the highway, where I gave thanks to the Lord and promised to slow down. Four days later,  on the way back to Vancouver, I looked for that spot where  I went off the road. I was looking for a field  that ran level with the highway.  It didn’t exist. Along the whole stretch of the highway there was a ditch between the road and field.  If my car had hit that ditch it would have certainly flipped and rolled at 120 km per hour.  I can only conclude that angels lifted up my car in their hands so that I would not strike that ditch.    I don’t how many angels I have, I have never seen them, but  I am very thankful for them, and am writing this to honor them.
